About this Property
THE ROW, THE BLOCK
The Romanesque Revival row of houses from Number 7 to Number 13 along the north side of East 94th Street was built in 1892-1893 by the architectural team of Cleverdon and Putzel whose work in New York stretches from a famed row of townhouses along Marcus Garvey Park to the New Museum Building in the cast iron Soho row along Broadway. Cleverdon and Putzel designed all of the eleven townhouses on the north side of the block, all in the Romanesque Revival style featuring gabled rooftops, projecting oriels yet with distinctive facades.

A large bay window and banquette make this suitable for casual use and provides ample eastern sunlight.

Built as a full floor master suite, the third floor includes a large bowed-front library with oblique Central Park views as well as an en-suite full bath which connects to the rear master bedroom.
